We visited the Palace Garden in Schwetzingen on April 23rd. Schwetzingen is very close to Heidelberg, so we are excited to visit the gardens throughout the summer to see the changes in what is blooming. Posted by Picasa

This was one path I could've walked down over and over again it was so pretty! Posted by Picasa

This is a nice place to take a leisurely stroll. Posted by Picasa

We don't know what all of the buildings are, but they sure are nice to look at. Posted by Picasa

Someday we'll get a tour so we understand what everything is.  Posted by Picasa

Never seen a duck with this coloring before. Posted by Picasa

Here there are bird houses surrounding a fountain with all kinds of pretty birds to see. Posted by Picasa

This funny little bird was hanging out by one of the ponds. We're not sure what it is. Posted by Picasa

We waited and waited for this guy to get out the shot, but he just wouldn't move. Posted by Picasa

We spent the weekend in Speyer at the Hotel Domhof. We attended a marriage retreat sponsored by an army chaplain. We had a great time. Great town, great food, great company! Posted by Picasa

We stopped at a nice little restaurant tucked away in a corner and had an excellent lunch! Posted by Picasa

On either side of the salad you'll see maultaschen...the German ravioli. This plate was superb! Posted by Picasa
