We visited the Palace Garden in Schwetzingen on April 23rd. Schwetzingen is very close to Heidelberg, so we are excited to visit the gardens throughout the summer to see the changes in what is blooming.

We waited and waited for this guy to get out the shot, but he just wouldn't move. 

We spent the weekend in Speyer at the Hotel Domhof. We attended a marriage retreat sponsored by an army chaplain. We had a great time. Great town, great food, great company!

We stopped at a nice little restaurant tucked away in a corner and had an excellent lunch! 

On either side of the salad you'll see maultaschen...the German ravioli. This plate was superb!
