Edelweiss Lodge and Resort is an Armed Forces Recreation Center in Garmisch. We stopped there to check it out, and we concluded that the best thing it has going for it is the scenery. We're glad we stayed somewhere else. It's a very nice resort, but it doesn't give you the full German experience.
